Peachtree Park Master Plan

Update #3 - November 24, 2025

What is a Master Plan and why Peachtree Park?

The purpose of a master plan is to provide a guide for land use in the neighborhood, including greenspace, and provide overall recommendations for future improvements, including infrastructure needs, such as sidewalks and safer streets. When completed, the master plan will be adopted by the Atlanta City Council and incorporated in the City’s Comprehensive Development Plan.

Neighborhood goals are guided by the following principles for the plan:

a. Guiding Principle #1: Preservation of Peachtree Park as a single-family neighborhood

b. Guiding Principle #2: Encourage neighborhood-friendly businesses on Peachtree and Piedmont Roads – in both existing and future buildings

c. Guiding Principle #3: Provide safe conditions for pedestrians/cyclists in neighborhood

d. Guiding Principle #4: Enhance greenspaces within the neighborhood

e. Guiding Principle #5: Encourage efficient and safe intersections along Piedmont Road

We need your input now!

After having gathered input from residents and area community leaders during the months of September and October, Canvas Planning Group presented their findings and initial recommendations at a second and final Community Forum that took place on the evening of Thursday, November 20 at the InterContinental Hotel.

Peachtree Park residents who attended the forum asked questions and provided their input on the several recommendations that address needs and opportunities both within the neighborhood and its surroundings.

You, too, can view the presentation and provide your feedback on the proposed recommendations by completing a survey at the following links:

The survey will remain open through Wednesday, December 10, 2025. The resulting feedback will inform a final draft plan for the review and ultimate approval of the Peachtree Park Civic Association board. Don’t miss out on this final opportunity to be heard!
